The Kyodo World Cup, which took place on April 13 in the GOSTIR hall in Rzgów, gathered several hundred competitors from various corners of the world, including Iraq, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Israel, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Poland and other countries. The prestigious event was held under the patronage of the mayor of Rzgów, Mateusz Kamiński, and the Starosty of the Eastern District of Łódź, and was supported by the Iglotex company from Łódź, providing mineral water. The competition was organized by the European Karate Center, known for organizing the Samurai KyodoKyokushin Cup league.

The Kyodo World Cup was officially opened by the mayor of Rzgów, who gave a speech, welcoming the participants and wishing them fruitful competitions. The main referee of the competition was Hanshi Zbigniew Szkopiak. A record number of 700 fights were held in the Kumite Kyokushin, K-1 (Kickboxing) and IBU MMA formulas, which lasted from 10:00 to 23:00. The judges on the mat were: Kancho Maciej Misiak, Shihan Hadar Fayad 5 Dan, Sensei Raad Assad Jasim 4 Dan, Sensei Jacek Szymański 4 Dan, Sensei Hanna Grużewska 3 Dan and Edwin Raczyński 1 Dan (MMA).
The best club in the World Cup was the Ukrainian KyodoKyokushin Club led by Sensei Dmytro Boklaschuk.
The best player of the Kyodo World Cup was Konstantinos Soantzoglou, and the distinction for the best player went to Anna Rutkowska. The event also had the honor of hosting Piotr Szeligowski, European champion in Kyokushin and author of many books on karate. His presence added additional prestige to the competition, inspiring young players to give their all on the mat.
MMA and K-1 fights were also full of dramatic moments, where winners such as Kamil Zajkowski, Michał Wutkowski and Jacek Michalczyk demonstrated not only technical mastery, but also enormous physical and mental endurance. Their duels were a true test of character, and victory came only to those who were able to combine strategy with ruthless determination.
The competition at the Kyodo World Cup is not only a demonstration of sportsmanship, but also an arena of great emotions, sacrifices and pain that accompanied the competitors on their way to victory. The joy of the winners was as intense as the fatigue and disappointment of those who had to acknowledge the superiority of their rivals. Each clash, each fight was a story written with sweat and blood that will remain in the memory of the participants and viewers forever, creating unforgettable moments for everyone present.
